We received an e-mail yesterday from AWAA and our next travel date might be October 22nd. Please keep us in your prayers.

Gestern haben wir ein e-mail von AWAA bekommen und es sieht so aus das wir vielleicht den 22. Oktober abreisen koennen. Bitte betet fuer uns weiterhin.

Today we got an e-mail from our adoption agency that we will not travel as planned. Our adoption agency was very sure that our group will travel October 8th to China and we booked tickets for kids and packed the suitcases. Apparently the Consulate in China can not give out any more appointments for us for the immigration of Maria. I am heart broken that it is hard to type this into my blog. We have waited so long for this to finally take place and it is very hard when you feel so helpless. We are waiting to hear from the adoption agency if they were able to talk to the Consulate to make exception. Please lift us up in your prayers.

Heute haben wir ein e-mail von unserer Adoptionsagentur bekommen das wir nicht reisen werden wie geplant. Unsere Adoptionsagentur war sich sehr sicher das wir am 8. Oktober nach China reisen werden und wir haben die Tickets fuer die Kinder gebucht und die Koffer fuer uns sind gepackt. Anscheinend hat das Konsulat in China keine offenen Termine fuer die Immigration fuer Maria. I sitze hier mit gebrochenen Herzen waehrend ich dieses auf meinem Blog schreibe. Wir haben so lange auf dieses Moment gewartet und es ist so schwer wenn man so hilflos ist. Wir erwarten ein e-mail von unserer Adoptionsagentur und hoffen das das Konsulat eine Ausnahme machen kann. Bitte gedenke an uns in Euren Gebeten.

We had a wonderful dinner together. I made a Lasagna and Vanilla ice-cream with hot cherries. Rebecca helped me decorate the table and the boys were our waiters. What a beautiful day!

Wir hatten eine wuderchoenes Abendessen. Ich habe Lasange gemacht und zum Nachtisch gab es Eis mit heissen Kirschen. Rebeca hatte bei der Tischdekoration geholfen und die Jungs waren die Herr Ober.  Was fuer ein schoener Tag!

I am so happy to tell you that the TA (Travel Approval) arrived. We received our TA today from AWAA and will leave October 8th to pick up our daughter Xiao Tian. We still need confirmation for the Consulate appointment, but are in high hopes that we get the appointment.

Ich bin so gluecklich das wir endlich unsere Papiere fuer die Reiseplaene nach China bekommen haben. Wir haben sie von unserer Adoptions Agentur AWAA bekommen und werden am 8. Oktober abfliegen und holen unser Tochter Xiao Tian ab. Wir warten immer noch auf einen Termin fuer das Konsulat in China, aber wir sind voller Hoffnung das es klappen wird.
