We had a wonderful meal. We only make this kind of Italian meal once a year. It’s become a family tradition. Christopher was very sick that day, so we did not post any pictures of him.
Visions of the Heart by Timothy McDoniel – 2009
My gaze one night
across a starlit floor.
Met the most beautiful smiling eyes
as never seen before.
Your eyes said things,
that spoken words couldn’t do.
And the beating of my heart,
knew that it was true.
Gazing in your eyes,
your heart was shown to me,
and once our hands touched,
I knew we’d forever be.
In love-
with each other,
until death do we part.
Said our eyes to each other,
as we saw each other’s heart.
Happy Valentines Day!
God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. 1Peter 4:10-11
Somebody encouraged me to do one more fundraiser with raffle tickets. I have been sending re-quests via e-mail and face-book. We are trying to get things rolling and hope that it will work out. I have never done anything like this. We are working on getting the permit to do so.
Today I received my second “NO” for the grant application. Shaohannah’s Hope is unable to provide financial assistance. I am almost out of options. My $4,000 to AWAA is due now and I can’t go on with the adoption. Paperwork is ready to be send off for translation and China.
We love our animals, they are like little kids to us. Our bird Pauli only eats from a plate. If fork is not present he won’t eat. He has a tiny little plate and will eat once the table is set. Did I tell you he won’t go to sleep unless you massage him.

We had so much fun. Went to eat out at Macaroni Grill. 10 Christian moms having fun. We ate so fast that at 7:30 pm we had no idea what to do. Stopped by at Barnes and Noble, but no seats available, so we went to Atlanta Bread Company for some more girl-friend time. The fun memory I had from that evening was Julie and I attacking the bread, while all the others cut theirs so nicely. Can moms have fun? Oh yes we can. Thanks girl friends.
