The Christmas Tree is up Nov 28

Our Christmas tree is decorated, the children helped so much, the candles are burning, the fireplace is keeping us warm. It is time to reflect on the year, counting our many blessings and hope for peace on earth. We hope and pray that our daughter Maria will be here with us next year. We await you and welcome her in our family. Every body needs a family and it is a wish of every child to be in one.

Happy Thanksgiving Nov 27

Happy Thanksgiving to all. There is so much to be "Thankful" for. Count your many blessings, count them one by one. Count your many blessings, look what God has done.

We enjoyed a very nice meal. I have to make every year Tim’s favorite dressing (recipe is from his mom).

IMG_3654 Maria, we hope that we have you with us next year. Rebecca set the table with little name tags for us. She has a beautiful handwriting.

After dinner we took a nice walk by the beach, just a little bit too cold. We found beautiful sea shells and had nice rosy cheeks.

Paper re-do Nov 24

The joy of paper-pregnancy is you get to do a lot over and over again. Our paperwork from NC Secretary of State was done incorrect. Since we will be in Raleigh anyway, we will stop by and talk to them face to face. Hopefully we can get it all straightened out soon. IMG_3553

Happy Aloha Nov 15

Today Rebecca graduated from her Ukulele class AlohaU. She had so much fun. The flowers were from Hawaii. What a nice day!

National Adoption Month Nov 12

James 1:27 "Here are the kinds of beliefs that God our Father accepts as pure and without fault. When widows and children who have no parents are in trouble, take care of them. And keep yourselves from being polluted by the world."Untitled

The state of VA accepted me Nov 11

I am so happy to say that the state of VA has accepted my documents from Germany and Denmark for authentication. They are now on the way to the Chinese Embassy. We are moving slowly forward. We are still waiting for the appointment to go to Charlotte, NC for fingerprinting at Homeland Security. All in God’s timing. Please keep praying for money to fund the adoption.

The Cry of the Orphan. Nov 11

God’s Promise …

And if you give yourself to the hungry
And satisfy the desire of the afflicted,
Then your light will rise in darkness
And your gloom will become like midday.
"And the LORD will continually guide you,
And satisfy your desire in scorched places,
And give strength to your bones;
And you will be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.
- Isaiah 58:10-11
