Christmas is the day that christians celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior. And yes, most of us realize that Jesus wasn’t exactly born on this day. But since we don’t have a copy of his birth certificate, and since this has been the tradition since ‘way back when’… this is the day that we do.
The children got some nice presents. Christopher got a PS2 game and an mp3 player. Patrick got a new bike and a handheld computer game that he can also connect to his computer to compete against other kids. Rebecca got a bike, and an EZ Bake oven. They got a few other things too, but those were a few of the highlights. I got Heike one of those soda making machines from www.clubsodausa.com . I also got her some nice clothes she had asked for. I received a fishing rod and reel that’s meant for ocean fishing and some other nice shoes and clothes.
Heike cooked a wonderful dinner of Rolladen ( a German Dish we eat each Christmas). You can view the pictures at our Flickr site.
Oh, my avatar also gave Heike’s avatar, a beautiful necklace with a cross pendant for Christmas in Second Life. LOL.
Merry Christmas!!!
P.S. I noticed that the timandheike blog is now over a year old…. cool.
